Latvijas Zaļais punkts is the oldest and most experienced producers’ responsibility organization in Latvia. We organize recycling of packaging waste, waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE) and waste goods harmful to the environment (WGHE) on the behalf of companies based on a multi-annual action plan approved by the Latvian Environmental Protection Fund.

Recycling of packaging and waste electric goods

All the materials gathered in sorting sites in Latvia are recycled in local factories or abroad. Packaging and old electric equipment is transformed into secondary raw materials, that can be used to produce new packaging or other goods. Sorting of waste

Sorting waste is easy if you keep in mind some simple steps, like, throw only clean packaging into the sorting containers, and always remember to flatten the PET bottles and carton boxes as well as follow other instructions on sorting containers.
